Full job descriptionAre you an experienced 7.5T driver looking for a full-time driving opportunity with the potential to become permanent?
We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients based in the Southampton area. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and experienced driver to join a friendly team, delivering fixtures and fittings across the South Coast.
What you need to know about this 7.5T driving role:*Monday to Friday (07:00am start)
*8-10-hour shifts
*12-week temp-to-perm position
*Approximately 10-15 deliveries per day
*Driving both 7.5T and 3.5T vehicles, depending on delivery requirements
*Loading and unloading the vehicle
*Delivering fixtures and fittings to customers
*Completing delivery notes
*Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
What we require from you:*A full and clean UK 7.5T driving licence
*Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
*Previous delivery driving experience
*Good geographical knowledge of the South Coast and surrounding areas
*Excellent communication and customer service skills
*Previous experience using ratchet straps and tail lifts
*Reliable and punctual with fantastic timekeeping
*A professional attitude and positive approach to work
*Ability to represent the client professionally and follow all company policies and procedures
