Job Description:
Full job description*Previous SARC experience is essential
*Ideally hold National Police Vetting and an Enhanced DBS – candidates will be unable to start without the required vetting/DBS
*Start date: ASAP
*Contract Type: Permanent
*Hours: 28 hours per week over 3 days
*2 x 12-hour clinical shifts: 07:00–19:00
*1 x 4-hour admin day (home based)
*Working days: Preference is Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, although there is some flexibility around this
*Candidates must be flexible to cover shifts where required, depending on rota gaps - this may include Nights / Weekends.
*Salary: £85,000 per annum
*Location: Bournemouth, Dorset. Successful candidate will need to be within a 60-minute commutable distance

Experience & Knowledge
Essential Desirable
• Minimum five years’ experience as a
Sexual Offence Examiner
• Experience in forensic examination
and medical aftercare of
complainants of sexual assault
• Experience of clinical governance
processes
• Leadership and management
experience
• Teaching and presentation/training
experience
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge
and understanding
• Paediatric Sexual Offence Medicine
(SOM) experience
• Root cause analysis training
• Training/experience in the role of
educational supervisor
