The Opportunity
A respected and growing financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join its established Client Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous industry experience who is looking to develop their career within a professional, supportive, and client-focused environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting advisers, maintaining exceptional client service standards, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of financial planning activities.
Key Responsibilities
General Administration
*Manage incoming and outgoing post, including scanning, filing, and preparing correspondence.
*Answer telephone calls and direct enquiries appropriately.
*Respond to client queries in a professional and timely manner.
*Update internal task management and back-office systems.
*Welcome visitors and assist with meeting arrangements.
*Manage adviser diaries and appointments.
Adviser Support
*Request and collate client plan information.
*Assist with the preparation of client meetings and reviews.
*Prepare client correspondence and documentation.
*Liaise with clients and financial service providers.
*Produce illustrations and supporting reports.
Client Review & Reporting
*Prepare and distribute client portfolio reports.
*Compile review documentation for advisers.
*Produce fund and investment performance information.
*Support ongoing client servicing and review processes.
New Business & Trading Administration
*Process pension and investment applications via online platforms.
*Submit and monitor new business applications.
*Carry out fund switches and investment transactions.
*Process client income and withdrawal requests.
*Monitor and check trade completion.
*Assist with life assurance and medical underwriting applications.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
*A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Financial Services Administration role.
*Strong organisational and administrative skills.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
*The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
*A professional and client-focused approach.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
*Experience working within a regulated financial services environment.
Qualifications
Essential
*GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above.
Desirable
*A Levels (or equivalent).
*Currently studying towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, or willing to commence professional qualifications.
