Job Description:
Full job descriptionArria Furniture Group are looking for a motivated and organised apprentice to join our Production Planning team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing, planning and supply chain while working alongside an experienced team.
You’ll support the day-to-day production planning process, helping to ensure materials, resources and production schedules are effectively coordinated. You’ll also develop your skills in data analysis, communication, problem-solving and business systems.
Responsibilities:
*Support the production planning team with daily scheduling and planning activities using systems such as KIS
*Help monitor production progress, materials and stock availability through Epicor and other planning tools
*Communicate with suppliers through outlook on when orders will be received
*Maintain accurate planning information, reports and documentation using Adobe
*Work with production, purchasing and other teams to resolve issues
*Learn and use planning systems and processes, including Epicor and KIS
*Contribute ideas to improve efficiency and planning processes
Full training and support will be provided as you work towards your apprenticeship qualification and build a career in production planning and supply chain.
About you:
You’ll be enthusiastic, willing to learn and comfortable working with numbers and data. Good organisation, communication and attention to detail are important, along with a positive attitude and a genuine interest in how products are made.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
