Full job descriptionRole: Water Network Technician
Location: South Wales
Day rate: Competitive
Contract: 6 month contract
The Role
We are looking for a Water Network Technician to support the operation and performance of a regional water distribution network. The role focuses on maintaining service standards, resolving network issues, supporting customers, and driving continuous improvement across water quality, pressure, flow and supply reliability.
Key Responsibilities
*Support the safe and efficient operation of the water distribution network.
*Investigate network performance issues and implement improvements.
*Work closely with operational teams, analysts and contractors to deliver excellent customer service.
*Maintain accurate operational records and ensure compliance with company standards.
*Assist with incident response and emergency activities.
*Support complaint investigations and identify root causes of recurring issues.
*Participate in an emergency standby rota.
Requirements
*Experience in water network operations, utilities, leakage, hydraulics or a related field.
*Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
*Ability to analyse issues and recommend practical solutions.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Full UK driving licence.
*Relevant technical qualification or equivalent industry experience.
