The duties of the Vehicle Technician will encompass:
*Performing complex diagnostic repairs and fault finding on a range of passenger and commercial vehicles
*Identifying electrical and electronic faults efficiently using OEM and multi-brand diagnostic tools
*Carrying out repairs and maintenance in line with manufacturer specifications
*Documenting diagnostics, repairs, parts used, and work completed accurately
*Maintaining a clean, safe workspace in accordance with health and safety standards
*Communicating technical issues clearly to customers, ensuring high levels of customer service
Required qualifications and experience for the Vehicle Technician include:
*Proven experience in a diagnostic role within the motor trade
*Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
*Extensive knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical/electronic systems, and ABS/airbag systems
*Proficiency with OEM diagnostic software and multi-brand diagnostic tools
*Full UK driving licence
*Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Motor Vehicle Repair, or equivalent
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*A proactive approach to ongoing training and staying current with technological advances
