Full job descriptionWraparound Play Worker (Level 2) - Rugeley John Taylor SchoolThe Supply Register are recruiting on behalf of Rugeley John Taylor School for a Wraparound Play Worker (Level 2) to join their dedicated team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for childcare and play-based learning to support the delivery of a high-quality wraparound provision for Nursery and Reception-aged children.
Role DetailsPosition: Wraparound Play Worker (Level 2)
Grade: To be confirmed
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Working Hours:
*Monday to Friday
*7:30am to 9:00am
*3:00pm to 6:00pm
About the RoleWorking alongside the Wraparound Supervisor, you will support a small group of approximately 10 children per session, helping to create a welcoming, safe and enjoyable environment where children can learn, play and thrive.
Responsibilities*Support the delivery of fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities.
*Help supervise children during breakfast and after-school sessions.
*Encourage positive behaviour and social development.
*Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
*Follow all safeguarding, welfare and health & safety procedures.
*Contribute to a caring and inclusive environment.
Essential Requirements*Recognised Level 2 qualification in Childcare, Playwork or Early Years.
*Experience working with children in a childcare, education or play setting.
*Positive, reliable and enthusiastic approach.
*Strong communication and teamwork skills.
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable*Experience working with Nursery or Reception-aged children.
*Knowledge of EYFS.
*Paediatric First Aid qualification.
