Full job descriptionAs the Head of Financial Projects, you’ll oversee the modernisation of financial operations and ensure the smooth running of accounting and finance processes within the not-for-profit sector. Based in Dunfermline, this role supports the organisation by managing budgets, financial reporting, and compliance.

*Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial reports.
*Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
*Manage the organisation’s cash flow and financial forecasting.
*Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
*Supervise and develop the finance team, ensuring effective performance.
*Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with organisational goals.
*Work with external auditors to manage the annual audit process.
Profile
A successful Head of Financial Projects should have:
*Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
*Experience in financial management within the not-for-profit sector would be advantageous but not required.
*Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
*Ability to lead and develop a finance team effectively.
*Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
*Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Job Offer
*Daily Rate of £250 - £300 dependent on the level of experience.
