About the RoleWe are looking for a highly organised and proactive Gas Installation Planner to join a busy and growing installations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong planning, scheduling and administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting operational delivery by managing engineer schedules, coordinating works, liaising with customers and clients, and ensuring installation projects run efficiently from start to finish. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities*Allocate and schedule work for engineers, electricians and subcontractors.
*Manage and maintain daily engineer diaries.
*Run regular job status reports to monitor progress and identify opportunities for completion.
*Coordinate appointments and communicate with residents regarding upcoming works.
*Act as a point of contact for clients via telephone and email.
*Ensure all jobs are issued with the necessary information, materials and documentation.
*Check asbestos registers and arrange reports or surveys when required.
*Organise scaffolding and other site requirements where necessary.
*Update and distribute planned works schedules to clients.
*Chase outstanding order numbers and required documentation.
*Provide general administrative and operational support to the installations team.
*Undertake additional duties as reasonably required to support service delivery.
What We’re Looking For*Excellent organisational and planning skills.
*Strong attention to detail.
*Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
*Good IT skills and experience using scheduling or planning systems.
*Customer-focused approach with a professional telephone manner.
*Previous experience in planning, scheduling, logistics, repairs, maintenance or construction environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
