Description:
An excellent opportunity for a motivated Field Service Engineer. This is an opportunity to join a highly established medical equipment manufacturer. The Role:
*Attending breakdowns and diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
*Carrying out servicing, repairs and planned maintenance
*Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment
*Working on automated machinery including electrical controls, hydraulics and pneumatics
*Cover reactive call-outs and urgent service level agreements
*Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, or structural faults on equipment.
*Perform routine safety checks and scheduled servicing on medical lifting aids.
Person:
*Experience as a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Field Engineer
*Strong fault finding experience across Electrical and Mechanical systems
*Confident working on breakdowns and solving problems independently
*Some exposure to PLC fault finding is highly desirable
*Experience with automated machinery, CNC, robotics or similar equipment
*Comfortable reading technical drawings and working methodically
