An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk / Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team based in Knowsley.
This role will suit a proactive individual with previous purchase ledger experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting the wider finance function.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing and posting supplier invoices
*Monitoring and managing the finance inbox
*Reconciling supplier statements
*Preparing and processing supplier payments
*Maintaining supplier account records
*Processing bank transactions
*Performing bank reconciliations
*Assisting with general finance administration and month-end activities
Requirements
*Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable or Finance Assistant position
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Good organisational and communication skills
*Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems
