Full job descriptionA well-established accountancy practice near Wokingham is seeking an experienced Practice Accountant to join their friendly team. This varied role supports both the accounts and tax departments, working with a portfolio of SME clients.
The salary for this role is up to £65,000 depending on experience. You will be fully officed based in the firms offices close to Wokingham.
Main responsibilities for the Practice Accountant role are:
*Accounts preparation (FRS 102 Section 1a & FRS 105)
*Corporation Tax computations & CT600s
*Personal Tax Returns & VAT Returns
*Advising clients on salary/dividends
*Reviewing junior staff work & acting as main client contact
Skills required the Practice Accountant role are:
*Qualified, part-qualified or QBE accountant
*number of years proven experience working in practice
*Strong software knowledge (IRIS, Sage, Xero, FreeAgent etc.)
*Excellent communication, organisation & attention to detail
