Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (08:30 to 17:00)
Location: Office-based role requiring on-site attendance five days per week.

An established and internationally recognised manufacturing organisation is seeking an Accountant to join its finance team. Operating globally, the business supplies specialist products and services to customers across multiple international markets and has built a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities
*Assist with month-end close procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
*Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss analysis and investigation of variances.
*Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate supporting schedules.
*Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
*Assist with year-end accounts preparation, audit processes, and statutory reporting requirements.
*Oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
*Support standard cost management and transfer pricing processes.
*Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required by the finance team.
*Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes, controls, and best practices.
*Perform and review intercompany reconciliations.
*Provide timely financial information, reports, and analysis to support senior finance stakeholders and wider business decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills
*Professionally qualified (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or currently studying towards a recognised accounting qualification.
*Strong technical knowledge of double-entry accounting, reconciliations, and VAT.
*Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP or accounting systems.
*Proactive, collaborative approach with a commitment to process improvement and continuous development.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
