Duties will include but not be limited too:
*Lead the day-to-day credit control team to keep collections activity proactive and effective.
*Build positive relationships with customers and internal teams to improve payment performance.
*Review and analyse aged debt, spotting trends, risks and opportunities to improve cash collection.
*Ensure that the credit control team resources are effectively applied to maximise cash collection and resolution of issues.
*Produce regular debt reporting and clear insights for senior management and the Board.
*Take ownership of customer disputes and bring in the right people across the business to reach a resolution quickly.
*Keep clear visibility of disputed balances and make sure agreed actions are followed through.
*Run the direct debit collection process, including submissions, reconciliations and failed collections.
*Make sure customer payments are allocated accurately and account queries are resolved promptly.
*Review and maintain bad debt provisions, making sure they are accurate and supported by clear analysis.
*Support cash flow forecasting by providing collection forecasts and updates on significant balances.
*Improve credit control processes, reporting and controls to make the function more efficient and effective.
*Support and develop the credit control team, creating a positive and high-performing environment.
*Make sure collection activity is professional, consistent and in line with company policies.




You will have the following skill set:


*Extensive exposure within an AR or Credit Control position
*Strong commmunication skills
*Seeking that next step up or already an experienced AR/CC Manager
*Ability to get to the office 5 days PW
*Strong excel ability
