Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are looking for a reliable and caring Community Delivery Driver to join our team delivering frozen meals and food products to elderly and vulnerable customers in their own homes.
This is more than just a driving role, our drivers provide an important service to customers, many of whom value the friendly face and support they receive during deliveries.
Key Responsibilities -
*Deliver food orders to customers homes.
*Carry deliveries into customers homes and place stock where requested.
*Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly, professional approach.
*Complete deliveries accurately and efficiently.
*Carry out basic welfare observations and report any concerns in line with company procedures.
*Ensure vehicle cleanliness and safety standards are maintained
What we’re looking for -
*Full UK driving licence
*Up to 3 points
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
*Comfortable entering customers homes and putting stock away as required.
*Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying food deliveries.
*Compassionate, patient and respectful when working with elderly and vulnerable individuals.
*Good communication and customer service skills.
*Reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
