Full job descriptionI am recruiting for an experienced and commercially minded Human Resources Manager to join a growing organisation in a highly visible and influential role.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established HR professional who enjoys working closely with senior leaders and making a genuine impact across a business. You will partner with the Managing Director, Operations Director, and wider Leadership Team to support a positive, high-performing culture while driving best-practice people initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident, approachable, and hands-on. You will be a trusted advisor to managers and leaders, balancing operational needs with sound HR guidance. Key Responsibilities
*Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including performance management, absence management, disciplinary, and grievance processes.
*Support managers and leaders with people-related challenges and development opportunities.
*Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall performance.
*Build strong working relationships across the business and ensure HR remains visible, accessible, and commercially focused.
*Support the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
*Work with leadership teams to identify training, development, and succession planning opportunities.
*Support recruitment and onboarding activities where required.
*Analyse people data and trends, providing practical recommendations to senior leadership.
*Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
*Contribute to the wider people strategy while maintaining a hands-on approach to day-to-day HR operations.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
*Previous experience as a Human Resources Manager or within a senior HR leadership position.
*Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
*Experience managing complex employee relations cases with a balanced and commercially practical approach.
*The ability to work effectively across multiple locations and teams.
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
*Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
*A proactive, ambitious, and solutions-focused mindset.
*A passion for creating positive employee experiences and supporting business success.
Qualifications
*CIPD Level 7 qualification (preferred but not essential)
