Full job descriptionAbout the Role / Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. This role involves working on both commercial and domestic properties, including the installation of EV chargers. The successful candidate will contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Must hold a drivers licence as van will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

*Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
*Install EV chargers and ensure proper functionality (training given)
*Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
*Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
*Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries professionally.
Qualifications:

*Proven experience as an Electrician.
*Must hold an ECS Gold Card.
*Relevant certifications in electrical work.
*Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
*Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Education Requirements:

*Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent training.
*Relevant certifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ).
Experience Requirements:

*Experience working in local government or public sector preferred.
*Experience in installing and maintaining EV chargers is a plus.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
