Contract: Temporary, 5th October 2026 to 4th April 2027
Hourly Rate: £15.00 - £17.00 per hour
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday
About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Service Planning & Operations Coordinator to join their busy operations team on a temporary basis. This role plays a key part in ensuring resources are effectively scheduled, customer requirements are met, and operational activities run smoothly across the UK and Ireland.
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will coordinate service activities, manage scheduling requirements, monitor demand levels and liaise with a range of internal departments to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
*Coordinate and schedule service resources to meet customer requirements.
*Monitor workload demand and resource availability using internal systems.
*Work closely with operational teams to identify and resolve scheduling challenges.
*Support planning meetings by providing accurate data and operational insights.
*Ensure customer updates are communicated in a timely and professional manner.
*Maintain accurate records and data within company systems.
*Assist with inventory and stock management activities where required.
*Produce reports and management information to support decision-making.
*Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across multiple departments.
*Support continuous improvement initiatives within the planning and operations function.
Skills & Experience Required
*Previous experience in scheduling, planning, logistics, operations, customer service or administration.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
*High attention to detail and strong data accuracy skills.
*Comfortable using CRM, ERP or other business systems.
*Confident working independently and as part of a team.
*Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
*Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
