Full job descriptionRG Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a successful company to help recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant. Reporting directly to the FC, this is a brilliant opportunity for a dynamic AAT qualified/ studying candidate to join a supportive team and further their career.


Key Responsibilities
*Assist with month-end processes
*Assisting with accruals and prepayments
*Preparing and posting journals
*Manage all sales and purchase ledger procedures
*Managing aged debt reports
*Assisting with credit control and resolving customer queries
*Investigating discrepancies and ensuring outstanding items are resolved promptly
*Statement reconciliations
*Preparing payment runs
*Liaising with suppliers to resolve discrepancies
*Daily and monthly bank reconciliations
*Investigating and resolving variances
*Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role
*Strong knowledge of sales and purchase ledger processes
*Confident using accounting software; SAGE, Excel
*AAT studier (desirable but not essential)
