Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Nursery Room Leader | Forest Row | Permanent
Are you an experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner looking for a leadership role in Forest Row? We are seeking a dedicated Room Leader to join a vibrant local nursery team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
*Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire room staff to deliver exceptional Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) care.
*Room Management: Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, manage daily routines, and oversee learning environments.
*Child Development: Act as a Key Person, monitoring progress, conducting assessments, and maintaining accurate learning journals.
*Parent Communication: Maintain open, professional relationships with parents and carers regarding child updates.
*Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory guidelines.
Candidate Requirements
*Qualifications: CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (required).
*Experience: Proven experience working in a UK nursery setting, ideally in a senior or supervisory role.
*Knowledge: Deep understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding standards.
*Vetting: Enhanced DBS check and two satisfactory professional references required.
