Full job descriptionSF Partners are delighted to be recruiting a Management Accountant for a well-established, international product based business based in Warwick.
This is a broad, hands-on opportunity within a successful product-led organisation with a strong reputation for quality, innovation and customer service. You will join a supportive finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate reporting and meaningful commercial insight.
The role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of key elements of the month-end process and work closely with colleagues across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
Producing variance analysis and clear commentary against budget, forecast and prior year
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
Maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring the accuracy of financial data
Assisting with year-end audit preparation and statutory reporting requirements
Supporting cash flow reporting and working capital management
Partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders, providing clear financial guidance and challenge
Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes and controls
Supporting wider finance projects as required
About you
You will be a proactive, well-organised finance professional with strong management accounting experience.
Ideally, you will be:
Qualified or finalist level (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or qualified by experience
Experienced in producing management accounts within a commercial, manufacturing, distribution or product-led environment
Advanced in Excel and confident working with large volumes of data
A clear communicator, able to build strong relationships with non-finance stakeholders
Detail-focused, commercially aware and comfortable working to monthly deadlines
Someone who takes ownership and actively looks for ways to improve processes
