About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil & Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join our clients growing London team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor or lawyer looking to develop their career within a dynamic litigation practice. You will manage a varied caseload, advise clients on complex disputes, and play an active role in achieving successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage a varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters from initial instruction through to resolution.
*Draft high-quality pleadings, witness statements, legal correspondence and other court documentation.
*Conduct detailed legal research and provide clear, commercially focused legal advice.
*Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
*Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
*Work closely with colleagues to develop effective litigation strategies and achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
*Manage case deadlines, documentation and correspondence effectively.
*Keep up to date with relevant legislation, case law and procedural developments.
Requirements
*Qualified solicitor/lawyer or equivalent legal qualification.
*Previous experience in civil and/or commercial litigation is preferred.
*Strong legal drafting and advocacy skills.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills.
*Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
*A proactive and commercially minded approach.
*Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high standard of client service.
