We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a well-established international business operating within the marine, energy and industrial services sectors. With a long-standing reputation for delivering specialist engineering, logistics and technical support solutions across global markets, this organisation plays a key role in supporting critical infrastructure and operational services worldwide.

Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant will be responsible for supporting the month-end process, delivering accurate management information and partnering with operational teams to provide financial insight and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
*Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
*Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes
*Producing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances
*Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
*Analysing financial performance and providing commentary to stakeholders
*Monitoring costs and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements
*Assisting with cash flow reporting and working capital analysis
*Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with internal controls
*Working closely with operational and non-finance teams to support business decision-making
*Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required

What you’ll need to succeed
*Previous experience within a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant position
*Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA, or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
*Strong month-end accounting experience
*Confident working with large volumes of financial data
*Strong Excel skills
*Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
*Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
*Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
What you’ll get in return
