Paye £16 per hour
Umbrella £19 per hour
We are looking for a detail-oriented Cash Controller to join our finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of company cash records, performing bank reconciliations, investigating discrepancies, and supporting month-end processes.
You will need to be immediately available and able to start within the next week.
Key Responsibilities:
*Reconcile company bank accounts and resolve discrepancies.
*Monitor cash collections and investigate outstanding items.
*Review and resolve till and safe variances.
*Liaise with stores, banks, auditors, and internal stakeholders regarding cash-related issues.
*Prepare reports, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
*Support month-end close activities and store openings/closures.
About You:
*Previous finance experience, ideally within a retail environment.
*Strong Excel skills and good attention to detail.
*Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
*Able to manage deadlines and solve problems effectively.
*Experience with Oracle or a similar finance system is desirable.
