Job Description:
Full job descriptionWorking within this well established loss adjusting operation you will be complementing their existing property team in handling both general material damage losses as well as assisting with complex building related issues.
*Claims can typically range from around £20k to over £1M in value, with a typical claim being around £250k.
*Working from a home base you will be expected to travel around the Greater/Souith Manchester Region.
*Working alongside an experienced adjuster, but requires further surveying expertise to progress and settle the claim, you will carry out initial visits and assess damage to a high professional standard and establish and agree the defect diagnosis.
*This will then progress ensuing all Planning, Building Regulations Party Wall and CDM issues are addressed and that work is carried out to a high standard.
*All claims will require appraisal reports with budget costings and recommendations.
About You:
*Candidates will be an experienced Surveyor within your field and Chartered MRICS or MCIOB qualified is ideal.
*Someone who enjoys the more technical side of surveying would suit this role.
*You will also be customer and quality focused to both internal and external customers, be able to work as part of a team, reactive to workloads, have excellent written and oral communications skills.
*Finally you must have excellent knowledge of up to date Health & Safety legislation.
Salary & Benefits:
£55,000 - £65,000 plus Company Car/Allowance, Pension, DIS and 25 Days Holiday.
