The Role
As Management Accountant, you’ll play a key part in driving financial accuracy, insight and control across the business. Your responsibilities will include:
*Producing monthly management accounts, financial statements and key reports
*Analysing financial performance and providing clear commentary to senior leaders
*Highlighting risks, trends and opportunities, and recommending practical solutions
*Enhancing processes, controls and reporting within the finance team
*Reviewing and improving financial systems and data flows
*Presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders in a clear, accessible way
*Leading monthly forecasting activity and supporting budgeting cycles
*Overseeing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring robust financial governance
*Supporting and mentoring colleagues within the finance department
*Taking ownership of additional ad-hoc tasks to support business needs
What You’ll Bring
*Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging non-finance teams
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
*Proficiency with SAGE and Excel
