Circa £55,000 depending on experience
4 days a week in the office, Fridays from home
An established, independent financial services and employee benefits consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate Consultant to join its London-based Benefits Consulting team.
This is a client-facing position with responsibility for managing and servicing a provided portfolio of employee benefits clients. The successful candidate will have experience in a client-facing position across employee benefits solutions, and a strong understanding of the relevant products, processes and regulatory requirements.
The role will also involve supporting senior consultants with key client accounts, contributing to new business opportunities and developing strong relationships with insurers, providers and other third-party partners.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage a portfolio of client accounts and maintain strong client relationships via regular client meetings.
*Manage the re-broking process across client renewals, preparing renewal presentations, reports and supporting documentation.
*Handle day-to-day client queries, requests and administration via the back-office system.
*Support wider team projects and events.
*Contribute to new business opportunities, including opportunities within existing clients and, where appropriate, new clients.
*Work closely with senior consultants to ensure a consistently high level of client service.
*Keep up to date with changes to regulation, legislation and internal processes.
The ideal candidate will have:
*Experience working within an employee benefits consultancy or firm, ideally in a client-facing position managing or servicing client relationships.
*Good knowledge of employee benefits products and solutions.
*Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
*Confident written and verbal communication skills.
*A strong focus on delivering a high-quality client experience.
*Experience working with relevant in-house systems, databases and processes.
Qualifications
An employee benefits-related qualification would be advantageous, such as GR1, IF1 or IF7, alongside relevant experience within the employee benefits sector.
What The Role Offers
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced employee benefits professional to join an established boutique consultancy, take ownership of a client portfolio and work closely with experienced consultants across a broad range of employee benefits solutions.
The successful individual will have the opportunity to develop their technical knowledge, client management experience and contribution to new business within a collaborative consulting environment.
