Reed are delighted to be partnering with a well-established law firm in Newcastle-under-Lyme who are looking to add an experienced Legal Cashier to their team.

You’ll be joining a friendly and close-knit team within a respected practice that prides itself on looking after both its clients and employees. The firm offers stability, flexibility, and a great working culture, with hybrid working available once you’ve completed probation.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Processing client and office account transactions
*Managing daily banking, receipts and payments
*Processing CHAPS, BACS and online payments
*Maintaining accurate client and office ledgers
*Completing bank reconciliations
*Handling client account transfers and completion statements
*Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
*Supporting fee earners with account queries
*Processing supplier invoices and payments
*Assisting with month-end finance duties
*Helping maintain accurate financial records and audit trails
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience working as a Legal Cashier
*Good knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Experience using legal accounts software
*Someone who enjoys working as part of a team
*A proactive and organised approach to work
