Are you mechanically minded and enjoy solving problems? We are seeking a Technical Helpline Advisor to join a leading manufacturer of outdoor power equipment. This role is perfect for someone with hands-on experience in bicycles, garden machinery, small engines, automotive, tools, or similar products who is looking to transition into a customer-focused, office-based role.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Provide technical support to dealers, customers, and internal colleagues via telephone, email, and CRM.
*Investigate faults and help identify appropriate solutions.
*Advise on repairs, servicing, and product maintenance.
*Support warranty and product-related enquiries.
*Liaise with workshop and service teams to ensure queries are resolved efficiently.
*Build strong customer relationships through excellent service and communication.
*Maintain accurate records and case notes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.
*Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
*Confidence in speaking to customers by telephone and email.
*Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving.
*The ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical customers.
