Location: Exeter
Hours: 48 hours per week | 5 days out of 7 (rota basis)
Are you a reliable and customer-focused 7.5 Tonne Driver looking for your next opportunity? Our client, based in Exeter, is seeking a professional 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join their busy home delivery team.
Working as part of a two-person crew, you’ll be delivering furniture, electrical goods, appliances, and other household products directly to customers’ homes. This is a physically active role that combines safe driving, teamwork, and excellent customer service.
The Role
As a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, you will:
*Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle in line with all road transport legislation.
*Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
*Deliver goods to customers’ homes safely, efficiently, and on time.
*Load and unload heavy and bulky items with your delivery partner.
*Complete delivery paperwork accurately and use delivery management systems.
*Provide outstanding customer service on every delivery.
*Keep your vehicle clean, safe, and roadworthy.
*Comply with Driver Hours regulations and Digital Tachograph requirements at all times.
What We’re Looking For Essential:
*Full UK Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) Driving Licence.
*Valid Driver CPC qualification.
*Digital Tachograph Card.
*Good knowledge of UK road transport regulations.
*Strong communication and customer service skills.
*Ability to carry out physically demanding work, including heavy lifting.
Desirable:
*Previous multi-drop or home delivery experience.
