24-7 Recruitment Services, acting as an Employment Business, are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client based in Swindon, SN3.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for ongoing, long-term work with a well-established and rapidly growing business in the South West.
The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for trunking goods to client stores throughout the UK.
The role will involve:
*Moving cages of clothing and rubbish
*Securing loads using straps and bars
*Manual handling
*Using a tail lift
*Delivering to stores throughout the UK
HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
*Hold a valid Class 1 / C+E licence
*Have at least 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience
*Hold a valid Tacho Card and CPC
*Have no more than 6 points on your licence
*Have no DD, DR, TT or IN endorsements
*Be available to work Friday to Monday - Start time between 15:00-18:00
*Be comfortable with manual handling and securing loads
Assessment: Approximately 3 hours (unpaid)
Pay & Benefits
*£17.74 per hour
*£1.71 per hour shift premium for hours worked between 20:00–05:00
*Overtime paid at 1.25x after 42.5 hours worked
*PAYE Dynamic Rates
*Long-term, ongoing position
*Friday to Monday shifts only
*Immediate starts available
*Additional shifts may be available
