A prestigious city centre hotel in the heart of Edinburgh is seeking enthusiastic, professional, and customer-focused Waiting Staff to join our award-winning Food & Beverage team.
About the Role
As a member of our waiting team, you will play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Working across our restaurant, bar and private dining areas, you will provide attentive and friendly service while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver exceptional food and beverage service to hotel guests and visitors
*Take orders accurately and efficiently
*Ensure tables and dining areas are presented to the highest standards
*Build positive relationships with guests and respond professionally to requests
*Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar teams
*Maintain excellent knowledge of menus, drinks, and daily specials
*Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel service is desirable but not essential
*Outstanding customer service skills
*A positive attitude and strong work ethic
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
*A team player with a passion for delivering first-class service
