Full job descriptionA Steel Operative / Overhead Crane Operator is required for an internationally trading steel company based in the Wolverhampton area on a temporary basis.
If you have experience within the steel industry this material handling steel operative / overhead crane operator position could be ideal for you. You will be responsible for operating overhead cranes, driving counterbalance forklift trucks, loading / unloading steel coils and more.
Duties include;
*Operating overhead cranes to handle steel
*Driving counterbalance forklift trucks
*Loading and unloading steel coils
*Using crane attachments including c-hooks and coil tongs
*Banding, stacking and palletising processed steel
This Steel Operative / Overhead Crane Operator position is working mornings with flexibility to work overtime if required.
*Working: 6:00am - 2.00pm, Monday to Friday & overtime available
*Paying £14.59 per hour + bonuses
*Temporary to start, with a view to being extended
