We are seeking a Clinical Services Manager to join a well-established dementia care home in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse leader to oversee clinical operations, support and develop a dedicated care team, and play a key role in delivering outstanding care and quality outcomes for residents.
The Role
Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the clinical team, ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and continuous service improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
*Leading, motivating, and developing nursing and clinical staff.
*Managing staff recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisals, and performance management.
*Ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered at all times.
*Maintaining compliance with CQC standards and relevant legislation.
*Conducting clinical audits and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
*Monitoring staffing levels and skill mix to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
*Supporting clinical governance and maintaining accurate care documentation.
*Identifying training needs and promoting continuous professional development.
*Building a positive culture focused on excellence, teamwork, and resident wellbeing.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
*Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
*Previous experience in a clinical leadership or management role within a nursing home, dementia care setting, or similar healthcare environment.
*Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and clinical governance.
*Excellent leadership and people management skills.
*A commitment to delivering exceptional standards of care.
*Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
