Full job descriptionFinance Manager - £60,000 - £70,000 - High Tech Manufacturing - Bicester
Working in partnership with the Financial Controller, you will support the delivery of accurate financial reporting across a high-end, high-tech manufacturing business.
The role will have a broad remit across financial accounting, reporting, controls and business partnering, with the opportunity to work closely with both Finance and operational stakeholders.
Responsibilities for the Finance Manager include:
*Support the month end and year end close process, ensuring financial information is accurate, complete and delivered within deadlines.
*Prepare and review financial journals, reconciliations and balance sheet information.
*Work closely with operational teams to understand financial performance and provide insightful analysis and commentary.
*Support the wider Finance team with analysis of actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
*Maintain strong financial controls and processes, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and reporting requirements.
*Support the development and continuous improvement of financial reporting processes, systems and controls.
*Work closely with the business to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial information used for management reporting.
Profile
*It is essential the candidate is a Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
*Previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
*Strong technical accounting and analytical skills.
*Advanced Excel and reporting capability.
*Able to work closely with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business.
