A strong opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join a busy, service-led organisation in a key leadership role. This position leads a centralised finance team responsible for delivering accurate management accounts, robust financial controls and high-quality reporting to a wide range of stakeholders.
This role would suit someone who enjoys improving processes, developing people and taking ownership of getting the numbers right.
The role:
*Lead, manage and develop a team of management accountants
*Own the timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts
*Ensure strong balance sheet reconciliations and disciplined financial controls
*Support budgeting, forecasting and year-end processes
*Review payroll postings, client money calculations and internal submissions
*Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, maintaining a clear "no surprises" approach
*Identify and drive improvements across processes, reporting and systems
*Work closely with senior finance colleagues to support wider business initiatives
About you:
*Qualified or nearly-qualified accountant
*Strong background in management accounting
*Proven experience managing and developing a team
*Confident juggling a busy workload while maintaining quality and attention to detail
*A clear communicator who builds trusted relationships across the business
*Comfortable driving change, improving processes and strengthening team capability
