The OpportunityA fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Tax Consultant to join a well-established accountancy practice in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work closely with a broad client base, providing both tax compliance and advisory support while continuing to develop your technical knowledge and career.
Key Responsibilities*Managing a portfolio of personal and business tax clients
*Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment and other tax returns
*Advising clients on a range of UK tax matters
*Supporting with tax planning and advisory projects
*Dealing with HMRC correspondence and enquiries
*Building strong, long-term client relationships
*Supporting junior members of the team and reviewing their work
*Working closely with managers and partners on more complex assignments
About YouWe’re looking for someone with:
*Strong experience within an accountancy practice
*Solid UK tax knowledge
*Experience across personal/private client tax
*Strong compliance experience alongside an interest in advisory
*Excellent communication and client management skills
*ATT/CTA or relevant tax qualifications would be advantageous
*The ability to work independently while also contributing to a wider team
