This is a hands-on role requiring an individual who can quickly integrate into the business and provide immediate support across management accounting, statutory reporting, audit preparation, and VAT activities.





Interim Management Accountant (3-Month Contract)
Location: Hybrid / Flexible
Contract: Interim, 3 Months Initially
Rate: c.£300pd Inside IR35
We are seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to support our finance team during a busy period. This is a hands-on role requiring an individual who can quickly integrate into the business and provide immediate support across management accounting, statutory reporting, audit preparation, and VAT activities.
Key Responsibilities*Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting analysis
*Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of financial controls
*Assisting with year-end financial accounts preparation
*Supporting external audit requirements, including schedule preparation and audit queries
*Preparation and submission of VAT returns
*Variance analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders
*Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes
*Identifying opportunities for process improvements within the finance function
*Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
About You*Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
*Proven experience in a Management Accountant or Financial Accountant role
*Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
*Previous experience supporting external audits
*Good working knowledge of VAT compliance and reporting
*Strong Excel skills and experience with finance systems
*Able to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
*Available to start at short notice or immediately preferred
