Full job descriptionInterim Head of Adults Operations
Based in London, hybrid working
Inside IR35
Length: 3 months initially
We are looking for an exceptional interim Head of Service for Adults to start at short notice and provide immediate leadership and guidance to the Council ASC Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide leadership to the ASC frontline Services (including Reablement, OT, Front door, Hospital Discharge) as well as being a strategic arm and advisor to the AD
*Ensure the service is fit for purpose for delivering within the context of the legislation such as the Care Act
*To ensure Statutory Responsibilities, Service Plans and Performance Targets are met and delivered taking into account Local and National priorities in line with the Council’s Corporate Plan and continuous service improvement priorities
*Promote a strong partnership working culture across locality teams ensuring the delivery of good standards of assessment, care and personalised support to develop an integrated approach to the care and support of vulnerable residents
*Move into supporting the Integrated Neighbourhood Teams pilot scheme which goes live in September
Key Requirements:
*Significant leadership experience in ASC Operations
*Must be SW Qualified and hold a current Enhanced DBS
*Knowledge of the Care Act in a Local Authority setting
*Demonstrable experience managing budgets and having involvement in the MTFS
*Understanding of the ethos/theory behind Neighbourhood teams
