About the Role
This is a genuinely varied role, giving you the opportunity to get involved across many areas of the business, including administration, customer service, reporting, data analysis and project coordination. You’ll work closely with teams across Commercial, Finance, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Marketing and Operations, making this the perfect role for a good all-rounder! Strong Excel skills are a must …
Key Responsibilities
*Providing day-to-day administrative and operational support across the business
*Coordinating customer projects from initial instruction through to completion
*Producing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
*Using Excel for data analysis, reporting, pivot tables and maintaining trackers
*Preparing sales, performance and management information
*Maintaining accurate customer and commercial information on internal systems
*Supporting customer account management and responding to enquiries
*Assisting with proposals, presentations and customer review documentation
*Raising and managing purchase orders and associated documentation
*Coordinating activities between different departments to ensure deadlines are achieved
*Assisting with project administration and following up actions
*Supporting logistics, returns and operational activities where required
*Liaising with Finance regarding costs, performance and reporting
*Carrying out market and competitor research
*Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and business efficiency
*Providing additional operational and administrative support as required
Person Specification
*Previous experience within an operations administration, commercial support, sales administration, business support or customer service role
*Strong Excel skills are essential
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
*Confident verbal and written communication skills
*Comfortable liaising with colleagues and customers at all levels
*Proactive and willing to get involved across different areas of the business
*Able to work independently whilst also being a strong team player
*Experience using CRM or similar business systems
*Commercially aware with a practical approach to problem solving
