Description
*Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
*Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
*Analyse financial data to provide insights and support decision-making.
*Coordinate month-end and year-end financial processes.
*Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
*Supervise and guide the accounting team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
*Monitor and improve financial controls and systems.
*Support senior management with financial strategy and planning.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
*A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
*Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in financial reporting.
*Proficiency in using financial software and tools.
*Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector is an advantage.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Confidence in presenting financial information to senior stakeholders.
Job Offer
*Daily rate between £350 and £385, dependent on the level of experience.
