Contractlength - 12 months
Startdate - ASAP
Location - mostly remote in England. Berkshire office day 1 to collect equipment
The client is a fast growing SaaS business. As a NodeJS Backend Developer you will focus on outcomes rather than just activity. You will own the delivery of backend features end-to-end by writing clean, well-tested code that meets a high standard of quality and performance in production.
NodeJS Software Developer - Responsibilities
*Deliver backend features end-to-end (design to delivery, production-ready code) in a fast-moving agile team
*Write scalable, high-performance server-side code in NodeJS and TypeScript
*Build and contribute to microservices; take ownership of outcomes rather than wait to be directed
*Write unit and integration tests that ensure code quality, reliability, and stability across releases
NodeJS Software Developer - Requirements
*Experience in server-side development i.e. NodeJs, TypeScript
*Familiarity with NestJS
*Experience in a fast-paced or high growth environment
*Experience with GIT, Docker, VS Code
*Experience with unit and integration testing using Jest
*Understanding of CI/CD principles.
*Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
*Strong problem solver
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
