We are currently seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our Further Education institution in Weybridge. This temporary position involves teaching GCSE Maths and resit courses to students aged 16-19. The role is set to start as soon as possible, making it ideal for dynamic educators ready to engage and inspire young adults.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Deliver engaging and comprehensive Maths lessons to students preparing for their GCSEs and those taking resit examinations.
*Develop lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to meet the needs of students at different levels of ability.
*Assess and monitor student progress through regular tests, assignments, and feedback sessions.
*Provide additional support to students requiring extra help, ensuring they are prepared for their examinations.
*Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
*Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the curriculum and share effective teaching practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Experience teaching Maths at GCSE level or similar.
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
*Ability to motivate and encourage students, fostering an environment conducive to learning.
*Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
