A leader in the life sciences sector is seeking a Manufacturing Operator II to join their production team on a 12-month contract basis. Operating from a modern manufacturing facility in Warrington, the organisation supports the development and delivery of products that play a vital role in improving health outcomes worldwide.
Your new role
As a Manufacturing Operator II, you will be responsible for supporting packaging and production activities within a regulated manufacturing environment. Your duties will include:
*Assembly of packaging components including boxes, inserts and labels
*Ensuring products are packaged accurately and securely in line with SOPs
*Applying correct product and regulatory labels
*Carrying out quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with established standards
*Identifying defects, errors or inconsistencies and escalating where required
*Working in line with health, safety and GMP requirements
*Wearing appropriate PPE and completing gowning and de-gowning procedures
*Supporting the wider manufacturing team to ensure production targets are met
What you’ll need to succeed
*High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate or equivalent
*Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, operations, laboratory or a related environment
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
*Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
*Experience within a cGMP environment would be advantageous
*Experience working in a clean room environment would be beneficial
*Experience handling hazardous materials would be desirable
*Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work
