An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a well-respected and growing law firm in Kent.
This role sits within a busy and expanding Estate Administration team that advises individuals, families and high-net-worth clients on a broad range of private client matters. The firm offers a collaborative, partner-led environment where lawyers receive excellent support, high-quality work and genuine opportunities for career progression.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload while working closely with experienced colleagues on a variety of estate administration and private client matters, including:
*Probate and estate administration
*Drafting Wills
*Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
*Deputyship applications
*Trust administration
*Inheritance planning
*Court of Protection matters
This position offers the opportunity to build long-term client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of a successful department.
Key Responsibilities
*Meeting clients and taking detailed instructions
*Providing clear, practical and empathetic legal advice
*Managing matters from instruction through to completion
*Preparing and reviewing legal documentation
*Keeping clients informed on progress and key developments
*Maintaining accurate file management and compliance records
*Resolving client enquiries efficiently and professionally
*Adhering to regulatory, risk and quality standards
*Supporting networking, marketing and business development initiatives
About You
To be considered for this role, you will:
*Be a qualified Solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE in Private Client law
*Have strong experience handling probate and estate administration matters
*Be confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
*Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills
*Have a proactive and commercially aware approach
*Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
*Be keen to play an active role in business development and relationship building
