Location: Basildon
Salary: £29,215 per annum (£14.05 per hour)
Working Hours: 14:30 – 23:00 (40 hours per week)
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday


All Square Recruitment is pleased to offer a fantastic Temp to Perm opportunity for an efficient and proactive Warehouse Operative. This role is ideal for those who prefer a later start whilst working within a vision-driven operations team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for the seamless receipt and dispatch of goods. Your duties will include:
*Loading & Unloading: Safely handling goods, checking for damages, and ensuring all items are correctly stored.
*Inventory Management: Utilising operational systems to maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy records of all client products.
*Compliance: Ensuring all activities are completed on time and in strict conjunction with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
*Efficiency: Working alongside the Warehouse Manager to implement workflow improvements and reduce cargo handling errors.
*Equipment: Operating forklift trucks (where qualified) to assist in daily warehouse manoeuvres.
Requirements
*Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
*Licensing: A Forklift Licence is beneficial; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
*Skills: High level of accuracy in paperwork, strong communication skills for inter-departmental relationships, and a proactive attitude.
*Compliance: Candidates must be able to pass a DBS check and provide valid Right to Work documentation.
