As a Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include:
*Leading the commercial input into bids and proposals to develop a suitable risk and reward balance
*Leading contract negotiations with customers and key partners
*Providing a contract management service, ensuring performance aligns with contractual requirements
*Identifying and reporting key obligations, liabilities and risks to the business
*Applying company policies and procedures throughout the bid, negotiation and contract lifecycle
*Maintaining contractual records, correspondence and key decision documentation
As a Commercial Manager, your experience will include:
*A significant record of commercial management, ideally within the defence sector, across UK and/or export markets
*Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, including terms and conditions, NDAs, MoUs, teaming and licence agreements
*Structuring, managing and closing complex negotiations
*A strong understanding of contract law and compliance and regulatory frameworks
*A relevant degree, and ideally membership of a professional body such as IACCM or WC&C, would be advantageous
*Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyse complex commercial issues
