We are seeking a Finance Operations Manager to play a pivotal role within our EMEA Finance team, contributing to the efficient functioning of day-to-day finance operations, development of best practices, and strengthening of internal control policies & procedures.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist the Finance Operations Director with the leadership of the AP and AR functions, overseeing a large team across multiple locations.
*Take full ownership of all transactional processes across EMEA, providing insight and guidance across various Finance functions to develop best practices and ensure compliance with agreed processes.
*Build relationships with operations teams across EMEA to resolve issues in a timely manner.
*Provide guidance on complex issues to project teams to ensure correct accounting treatment.
*Assist with ERP implementation activities, particularly in UAT testing and team training.
*Leverage systems to provide robust data analysis to assist Finance leadership with ad-hoc finance projects.
*Develop and implement improvements to financial controls and procedures across the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified accountant with 5+ years of finance experience, ideally within professional services.
*Experience within an international multi-site business with exposure to multi-currency and FX transactions is highly desirable.
*High attention to detail with strong analytical capabilities.
*Ability to manage deadlines, be results-oriented, and maintain high-quality work in a fast-moving environment.
*Continuously looking for ways to improve processes and drive efficiency.
*A collaborative team player who builds productive working relationships and communicates effectively with colleagues at all levels.
