Our client is a well-established and highly respected construction business with a strong reputation for delivering quality products and outstanding customer service. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor / Credit Controller to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is a varied, customer-focused role where you’ll act as a key point of contact for customers, handling enquiries, resolving issues, processing orders, and supporting account management activities. You’ll also assist with monitoring customer accounts and ensuring payments are received on time.
Key Responsibilities*Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer enquiries.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
*Resolve account, invoice and delivery queries efficiently.
*Process customer orders and maintain accurate records.
*Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
*Complete customer account and credit checks.
*Liaise with sales and operational teams to resolve issues and release orders.
*Support the finance team with sales ledger administration.
About You*Previous experience in Customer Service, Sales Support, Administration or Credit Control.
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
*Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
*Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
