IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse team.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving the handling of large and heavy goods, picking and packing customer orders, operating forklifts and supporting both warehouse operations and local walk-in customers.
What We Offer*Monday to Friday working pattern.
*8:30am-5:00pm working hours.
*1-hour lunch break.
*Full-time position.
*Varied warehouse role combining forklift operation, stock control and customer service.

Key Duties*Pick and pack orders using a handheld PDA.
*Process orders for walk-in customers.
*Load and unload deliveries safely.
*Put stock away and replenish pick faces.
*Maintain accurate stock levels and carry out FIFO stock rotation.
*Process supplier returns.
*Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts.
*Complete forklift safety checks and maintain accurate records.
*Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and safe.
*Assist with general warehouse maintenance as required.
*Provide friendly and helpful service to customers.
Requirements*Experienced and certified Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Driver.
*Experience handling heavy and palletised goods.
*Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 3 points.
*Computer literate and confident using handheld systems.
*Reliable with good timekeeping.
*Friendly, approachable and professional manner.
*Strong customer service and communication skills.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
